About 1 Day EIN

We form US LLCs for founders who do not live in the United States and do not hold a US Social Security Number, obtain the federal EIN, and file the annual returns that follow. 1 Day EIN LLC is the formation and filing infrastructure behind independent agents and resellers as well as our own direct customers.

1 Day EIN was founded by Francis Webb. Francis holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder and spent his early career in telecoms — at AT&T from 2016 to 2018 as Commercial Graduate and then Commercial Manager, Bids & Tenders, and at Verizon Business from 2018 to 2021 as Pricing Manager and then Capture Lead. He left in 2021 to form US companies for independent clients, and the work grew into a platform. From October 2023 it ran through two predecessor companies, ColoradoDocs LLC and WyomingDocs LLC, both built solely as filing infrastructure. In 2025 Francis established 1 Day EIN LLC to carry all of it — formation, EIN, and the annual compliance filings that follow — and in August 2026 both predecessor companies were merged into it. The order history above spans the whole period. Customers who joined before October 2025 came in through those predecessor companies, and describe the business by the name it carries now. A customer who says they have been with 1 Day EIN since 2024 is describing a relationship that began with ColoradoDocs or WyomingDocs. We began selling directly to customers in 2026.

Wyoming and Colorado only. We do not sell formations in other states through this site.

We act as third party designee for your LLC's federal EIN application. You are named as the responsible party for your own company. Our authorisation ends when the EIN is assigned. We do not become an officer, member or agent of your company by obtaining it.

In Colorado, your articles are filed by Francis Webb on behalf of 1 Day EIN LLC, named as organiser on the filing.

In Colorado, the registered agent of record on the companies we form is 1 Day EIN LLC. Wyoming law requires a registered agent with a Wyoming street address, so in Wyoming we appoint a Wyoming commercial registered agent for your company and pay for it as part of your service. We manage the appointment and the annual renewal; you do not deal with the agent directly. Our own Colorado record still lists our predecessor entity, ColoradoDocs LLC, as 1 Day EIN LLC's registered agent, following the merger of that entity into this one in August 2026.
