We renew the registered agent and US address together at $50 a year. StartGlobal renews the registered agent at $99 a year and sells a US mailing address separately at $9.99 a month. Is StartGlobal cheaper than 1 Day EIN?
Not in year one, and not after it. Both charge $399 for formation with the state fee included. From year two we charge $50 a year for the registered agent and the US address. StartGlobal charges $99 a year for the registered agent alone. Over three years that is $499 against $597, before StartGlobal's $9.99 a month address.
The annual report follows the same pattern. We file it for $150 a year. StartGlobal lists $299 a year.
Which one gets me an EIN faster?
We issue the EIN within 1 business day, Monday to Friday, once the company is formed. StartGlobal does not publish an EIN turnaround on its pricing page, so we won't guess at it. Ask them before you buy.
The EIN matters because Mercury, Stripe and PayPal all ask for it before anything else. Until it arrives you cannot open the account, and until the account is open you cannot take money.
We also guarantee the result. If the company is not formed and the EIN issued within 72 hours of us having everything we need, you get all of your money back, including the state filing fee. Where is StartGlobal the better choice?
We would rather tell you this than have you find out later.
- More states. StartGlobal forms LLCs in many more US states. We form only in Wyoming and Colorado. If you need Delaware, Florida or anywhere else, they can do it and we cannot.
- Bookkeeping. StartGlobal offers monthly bookkeeping. We do not do bookkeeping at all.

Can I move to 1 Day EIN if StartGlobal formed my LLC?
Yes, if your LLC is in Wyoming or Colorado. We can take over the annual report and the Form 5472 with pro-forma 1120 straight away. Neither requires us to be your registered agent.
Changing the registered agent is a separate step. In Wyoming it is a paper form, posted to the Secretary of State with a $5 cheque or money order. It cannot be filed by email, and processing takes up to 15 business days from receipt. Do not cancel your current agent before the change is accepted. A company with no registered agent falls out of good standing.
